Soaring to "A" Higher Destination

Mr. Vanover will soon be visiting classrooms to introduce the guidance program. Individual counseling will be available for divorce, bereavement, character building, friendship, career information, anger management and academic motivation. Students will be able to sign up as needed.

In an effort to help resolve student conflict on campus, office aides will be trained as peer mediators this year. This will ensure that students are always available to help their peers solve their conflicts with each other.

Character Counts! Will be a part of every classroom curriculum this year. As a reminder, the six pillars are: RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, CITIZENSHIP, FAIRNESS, TRUSTWORTHINESS, and CARING. Mr. Vanover will continue to have monthly contests.

We welcome the Tykes and Teens counselors will have an office here on campus this year. The two therapists, Debbie Lawrence and Maria Rivera, will be available for individuals in need of counseling
